Nicho (pronounced Nick-O) drives NEC’s growth initiatives and spearheads creative efforts.
Nicho founded Northeast Creative (formerly known as Light Weight Media) while studying documentary filmmaking at the University of Vermont. He has continued to relentlessly push for its original mission— to build a video production company that serves clients globally, produces cinematic and inspiring films, and fosters an environment that provides creative professionals the opportunity to pursue fulfilling careers.

Casey comes to NEC from the University of Vermont’s Film and Television School, Honors College, and Catamount Innovation Fund. Last year, Casey led NEC’s partnership with UVM Men’s Lacrosse, growing their social media from 7.3K to 13.4K followers.
He is also currently working on NEC’s first feature documentary covering Vermont’s street snowboarding culture.

Nick comes to NEC from the Pratt Institute in New York. He is a Brooklyn-based filmmaker and cinematographer.
He has shot for renowned clients like Red Bull and Porsche Tag Heuer.
He brings a new level of capability and a unique set of skills, particularly in automotive and action sports video production.
Nick says, “There is an incredible amount of content out there these days— a lot of mediocre stories with poorly assembled imagery. On the other hand, there are also a fair amount of incredible stories - matched with unmotivated visuals. I am looking for that sweet spot of marrying the two allowing the viewer to dive deeper into the story and connect in a way that wouldn't otherwise be possible.”

NEC is a family, figuratively and literally.
After a successful 25+ year career in non-profit and government planning, Bev saw her nephew, Nicho, working to build NEC. She decided to team up and help guide, organize, and develop the backend of the business, from legal to financial and HR.

Gleb is an Emmy award-winning documentary Director of Photography (DP) based in New York.
He joins NEC from Vice, where he was a staff DP on Vice’s HBO shows.
He specializes in video in the environmental sector and documentary filmmaking.
